Pleasant Hill Community Emergency Response Team Foundation

The Pleasant Hill Community Emergency Response Team Foundation provides financial support to Pleasant Hill CERT for disaster preparedness and disaster response. This Foundation is the financial arm for providing funds to Pleasant Hill CERT for training, equipment, and supply purchases to support the Pleasant Hill CERT mission of:

• • Training residents in disaster preparedness and safe response procedures,
  • Training students and graduates to organize and operate as teams to provide safe and effective response to the community following a disaster,
  • Providing assistance to first responders, if needed,
  • Promote disaster preparedness in our community by:
    • Sponsoring period speaking events 
    • Providing preparedness presentations and/or training to community organizations.

The Foundation holds regular meetings semi-annually and special meetings as required. Election of Directors and Officers is held at the December meeting.
