Happy New Year NW Area CERT Volunteers!
You are invited to attend our next bi-monthly meeting to be held at the PH City Hall Large Community Room on January 5, 2005 from 7PM to 9PM. The primary purpose of the meeting will be to practice our process for dispatching Search and Rescue Teams to assigned tasks in the community. A one-page outline of actions that need to be taken in this process is attached.This will be a tabletop exercise that will provide a refresher on how you will be dispatched as a SAR Team member. In addition, we will practice how to effectively dispatch a SAR Team from the Incident Command Post if asked by the Incident Commander to be a part of assisting in the process, including volunteers such as the Operations Chief, a scribe, and message center & ham operators.
This will be the first of several meetings devoted to getting ready for a PH CERT-wide exercise scheduled for April 25, 2026. More details will be provided at our meeting. Please make every effort to participate in these meetings so we can have a successful April exercise.
