You are invited to attend our next bi-monthly Area meeting to be held at the Northwest Area Assembly Area behind the Hope Center (2275 Morello Ave) in the rear of the Hillcrest Center. We will convene at 6:00 PM and wrap up our meeting at around 7:30 PM. Our meeting will begin and end earlier than usual so we can conclude our activities before it becomes dark.
The objective of the meeting will be to practice dispatching SAR teams to various locations in our Area and use our FRS/GMRS radios to send messages to the NW Incident Command Post message center relative to some mock scenarios. Please wear your vests and helmets so you are recognizable as a CERT SAR Team member when you are sent out to a location in our Area. Be sure to bring your fully charged FRS or GMRS radios if you have them. However, there are “loaner” radios available so please come even if you don’t have one.
