Continuing Training for CERT Graduates
This class is open to all CERT Graduates from Martinez, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek and Concord who have completed CERT Basic Training.
We will learn the proper methods of controlling traffic if our Police Department needs additional assistance in the event of an emergency or a civic event.
Classes will be held in two parts on the same day…classroom in the afternoon and practical exercise in the evening.
Class size will be limited to 20 students.
What – Traffic and Crowd Control Lesson
When – Saturday, March 21, 2026
- 2-5 pm classroom instruction
- 5-6pm dinner break
- 6-8 pm practical at the Marina Parking Lot
Where – Martinez Senior Center, 818 Green St., Martinez
Who – All CERT grads from Martinez, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, & Concord
What – to wear, bring, do in advance:
- Long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes.
- Bring coat, flashlight, beverage, & food for 1 hour dinner break
- Takeout meals are available downtown, you may want to preorder.
