PH CERT NW Area members are invited to attend our next bi-monthly Area meeting on May 10 at 9:00 a.m. This meeting will be held at our Area Cache. This is different from our normal Tuesday meeting location/day at the City Hall Large Community room, so please take note. The objective of the meeting will be to practice using a newly developed Incident Commander Quick Start Checklist, attached, covering important initial actions to take during the early stages as we assemble in response to an emergency.
We will also use the review of checklist actions to show attendees the contents and organization of our Tuff Shed to familiarize you with the resources that are available. Time permitting, we can partially set up key parts of the Incident Command Post such as the FRS/GMRS radio station and practice radio communications, so bring your fully charged radios if you have them.
